If you like to be in or near the Khao San area, the hotel's location is good. It's in a less rowdy area than actual Khao San Road.

The hotel's front easily floods when it rains. Wi-Fi is unstable. No ref--- at a comparable price, other hotels already have a ref. The room is a bit small. It's also quite bright during the day with the light, thin curtains (quite an issue if you sleep late).

Excellent location close to night life. The room was clean and faced away from street so no noise. The stuff was friendly and very helpful. Recomend it for short stays. We were there for two nights.

in the heart of the Khaosan area. connect to Khaosan road via an alley . you are spoilt for choice with restaurants and every possible type of street food as you step out of the hotel. it is convenience personified when you are in this location. a short walk to the busstop, taxi and Tuk Tuk waiting on the doorstep and within walking distance to the pier if you want to take the water taxi. 1 st floor has a shrine and a nice balcony to watch passing traffic and enjoy the cooler evening air.

depending on the room type, a bedside power point would help. I asked for and extension cord and the staff brought me one to use in a flash. nothing is too much for them

great value for money, perfect location for Koh San road, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful

For 3 travelers beats a hostel.

This is a bad review because of the Rambuttri travel agency in the same building that the hotel recommended. We were a returning customer to the hotel and took a trip with us their agency to Koh Tao. The agent lied that busses are all booked and the only VIP bus is available. We took on his word because we were regular at the hotel and it seems to be the same company. We ended up on a crappy bus (regular line from main station is 5 stars in comparison) which didn't make one break because it was running late and it was half empty. Also don't take an open return ticket - took us 3 hours to get it in the way back. We went with the issue back when we returned and the agent simply called us stupid and kicked us out. Aweb went to the reception of the hotel which recommended it, but they didn't offer any help. So much for regulars. Rooms are otherwise okay for the pricem alway put 'do not disturb sign' on the door because the cleaning staff steals and there is no safe and not they don't take liability. The guy who takes your luggage will do it for you automatically if you tip him.

Bed bugs! We had to move rooms because of bed bugs, couldn't sleep all night because I was worried about my kids- rooms not clean at all I asked for a refund for the second night we had booked- very unfriendly and unhelpful staff refused to give the money back

Stayed for two nights at the beginning of our Bamboo Tour, then returned a month later before heading home. Staff was amazing, giving great directions, holding my room, etc. Will go back on next trip.

The rooms are small, accommodating mostly young travellers. It was perfectly comfortable, and very well priced.

The room was too bright we were like suntanning with the sun coming in thru the thin curtain we close our eyes all we see was red from the light of the sun. We couldn’t rest and sleep, we have to go out as it’s not possible to rest.

1. Great Location. Near to ATMs, pharmacy, shops, supermarket, travel-agencys, restaurants and bars. 2. Easy to reach from the Airport (several minivans ensure direct transfer from/to both airports) 3. Safe and very Clean 4. Great Staff! 5. Fair price and relieable services.

Terribly noisy all night from the bar next door. To get a room on the other side of the hotel we had to "upgrade" and it was quite a bit more expensive, although the room looked exactly the same.

The location is good. Everything is convenient there because once you step out from the hotel from foods, shops, massage, spa, taxi or to other places all are nearby & accessible. The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. The people's in this area are very friendly, kind, helpful & polite. And this is our second time staying at this hotel.

The sink in the bathroom is a little too low. It would be nice if the room has kettle/water boiler. it vil be more convenient.

Very good, and fairly quiet for the central KSR location. I've stayed in about 30 different KSR guesthouses over the years and this was one of the best for the money

Every time we come to Bangkok we stay at Rambuttri House. Just a 2 minute walk away from KaoSan and a 15 minute walk to Wat Pra Keo, 20 minute walk to Wat Po. Despite the great location it is not too noisy as it is a little set back. However, if you need a quiet place to sleep you shoud pick a different area. They have a 24hours check in desk and the rooms are clean. They have free wireless and good aircon. The price is great for what you get.
